Erin holds a BA(Hons) in Dance and Sociology and an MSc in Dance Science from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh investigating dance talent development, psychological skills, dancers' mental health, and safeguarding in dance settings. She is a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science and an executive group member of Personal Safety for Dance, an international collective working to safeguard professional dancers. Erin is One Dance UK's expert on health, well-being, and performance, and she leads on devising and delivering initiatives and partnerships in research, education, and healthcare. Alongside knowledgeable, experienced colleagues in the Dance Medicine and Science Expert Panel and the National Institute of Dance Medicine and Science, Erin works to ensure that the current and future workforce in dance is healthy, well, and performing at their best. As Research Manager, Erin works to develop new research and implement existing knowledge to support health, wellbeing, and performance in dance.
