Trustee

The role of a Trustee in a charity is a voluntary (unpaid) one. Trustees work closely with the Chair and with the Executive Director and Artistic Director (the Senior Leadership Team) helping them to achieve the strategic aims of South East Dance, and deliver the agreed vision, mission, and strategic objectives. Trustees provide strategic guidance, using their expertise and networks to promote South East Dance and ensure its long-term sustainability. Advocacy is an important part of the Trustees' role. From time to time you may be asked to represent the organisation at functions and meetings. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Board in our second full year in The Dance Space and as we continue to develop our programmes and extend our offer for local people, communities, and dance artists in The Dance Space and across Brighton, the wider South East region and beyond.
